The LTT activities (Learning, Teaching and Training) of the REC – Rural Empowerment and Capacitation project were key moments of learning and cooperation, bringing together young people and youth workers from the four partner countries.

The youth exchange took place in Barcelos, Portugal, where participants explored topics such as sustainability, rural entrepreneurship and active participation through non-formal education methods, local visits and intercultural activities.

The training course for youth workers was held in Gaziantep, Turkey, gathering professionals who shared good practices, developed new skills and created tools to better support young people in rural contexts, promoting innovative and sustainable approaches.

These activities helped strengthen skills, encourage intercultural learning and reinforce cooperation among partners. In short, the LTT activities contributed directly to the project’s goals, empowering young people and organisations to act as agents of change in their rural communities.
